Ambassador Cui Wei, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Iraq, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih on May 17, 2022. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations.

Ambassador Cui arrived in Iraq on April 26 to assume office.
