Chinese Ambassador Ni Jian Participates in the Briefing of Iraqi Foreign Minister

On June 19, 2013, The Chinese Ambassador Ni Jian attended the briefing of five permanent members of the UN Security Council and UNAMI, which was hosted by Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari. Mr. Zebari briefed the progress in removing Iraq from the UN Charter VII and emphasized that Iraq has made great efforts in fulfilling compensation obligations, searching and returning missing staff, property and files to Kuwait. Now both Kuwait and Iraq are satisfied to the results, it is time to remove sanction of Chapter VII. Zebari asked for support from all the countries and discussed with participants on this issue.
