July 31, 2013, The Chinese Ambassador Ni Jian met with the Secretary General of Iraqi Chamber of Commerce Abdul Mubarak, accompanied by Commercial Counselor Shen Huiyong. The two sides discussed trade cooperation between China and Iraq.
Abdul noted that trade cooperation between the two countries is gaining sound momentum and the trade volume is rising smoothly. More and more Iraqi businessmen wish to visit China for business. The Chamber of Commerce is ready to work with the Chinese Embassy to expand the cooperation.
Ni noted that China has been attached great importance to trade cooperation with Iraq. China welcomes Iraqi businessmen. The Embassy would like to push forward the development of the cooperation.
