On August 23, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Iraq Xiang Bo visited EBS Oilfield Project for an inspection and research visit.

Ambassador Xiang and his delegation visited the central processing facility, drilling site and project camp of the Oilfield, as well as Zhenhua Hope School, which was supported by the company. Ambassador Xiang spoke highly of the company's achievements in advancing China-Iraq energy cooperation and promoting people-to-people connectivity.
